Dildo Review: Fun Factory Share

Strap-on Double Dildo Profile

Name: Share

Material: 100% Medical-grade Silicone

Manufacturer: Fun Factory

Length: 7″ (shaft) & 5″ (bulb)
Thickness: 1 1/2″ (shaft) & 1 3/4″ (bulb)

What I love: Strap-on dildo without the harness! Wonderful size on both bulb and shaft. Works well for both partner and solo sex. Shape of the bulb hits the g-spot and the curve from bulb to shaft hits the clitoris so both partners are stimulated.
What I didn’t love: Kind of floppy, so could be irritating to use or not work well at all for some.

Rating: 4 Lotuses (out of 5) – Very Good & Highly Recommended (but keep in mind anatomy differences)

Much thanks to Babeland for letting me review and give away the Share!

Review: Regard Indiscret Set

For the record, I’m not spelling indiscreet wrong, that is part of the name of the set, but I cringe every time I spell it Indiscret.

Since I love the set so much I took quite a few pictures of me using them, one is below to give you an idea of the set worn, the only thing missing is the candle. The rest of the set of pictures will be up on my site on Thursday for Half-Nekkid Thursday.

BDSM Toy Review: Black Large Rubber Whip

black rubber whip

Between Onyx and myself we have a good amount of impact play toys, though there are so many out there I always am interested in new and different kinds of floggers, canes, paddles, and etc. to include in our play.

When I saw the Black Large Rubber Whip was available for review I was intrigued. Onyx and I had actually just been to Babeland not too long before I got it and had looked at their bdsm gear section. While it’s not extensive it does have a good amount of quality products, and this Rubber Whip is no exception.

It’s a very basic design, two knobs and a piece of plastic piping with dozens of strands of rubber looped through them, anchored on the other side by the wrist strap. They actually have two other whips almost identical to this one, the difference is color and length, the Pink Medium Rubber Whip and Red Mini Whip (the latter would be wonderful for whipping close sensitive areas like breasts or genitals).

black and pink rubber whips

I’m not really sure why it’s called a whip rather than a flogger. In contemporary usage, as far as I know, the term whip is generally reserved for single-tail whips–like what Indiana Jones uses–while the term flogger is actually used as a somewhat catch-all term for something with multiple tails (usually leather but also rope, rubber, or etc.) and a handle. That’s what I’ve found others to say as well. Though another distinction could be along the lines of the thuddy to stingy continuum, such as the thuddy toys are floggers while the stingy toys are whips, but this isn’t as widely used since floggers and whips can produce a wide range of sensation depending on how and where they are used.

That query out of the way let’s get to what you’re actually interested in: how it feels to use and to take it! ‘Cause the information about the toy itself is only useful if you know it’s going to do what you want it to.

Well, what I really like about the Black Large Rubber Whip is that it has a good amount of versatility to it, though most floggers do. It can be light and teasing, trailed softly across sensitive exposed skin. It can be soft and thuddy, launched lightly at a bare bottom to evoke pleasure more than pain. And it can be harsh and stingy, snapped quickly to make the tips lick at tender flesh.

This range of sensation isn’t rare in the stingier end of floggers especially, that’s part of why I love floggers so, because one toy can be so versatile. As a poly queer switch I’m all for versatility.

Because it has such a range, also, it can be useful to beginner and advanced kinksters alike, making it a nice addition regardless of skill level. Due to the material of the strands, rubber as opposed to a harder or thicker material, it is rare for it to leave marks of any kind. Now, this could be a negative for those of us who like marks (myself included) but there are times when you don’t want to have marks on your thighs, ass, and lower back or wherever else you are wanting to use it. This toy is especially nice for great sensation and impact play without the worry of getting marked up in the process.

It’s lightweight and the handle is easy to hold on to while using it. While the handle is smooth plastic there are knobs on either side so there was no slipping in my hand while I used it. It’s also affordable, and while it is simple it’s good quality. Overall I’d say if you’re interested in a versatile and affordable flogger to add to your collection, this is a good one to consider.

Anal Toy Review: Aneros Peridise

The Aneros Peridise and I have had a strange relationship. I was enamored with them the first time I laid eyes on them on Babeland’s website. Generally I love unusual toys, and Peridise is definitely unusual.

Aside from the uniqueness of the toy, my relationship to it actually has to do with the issues I’ve had regarding reviewing it. I received my Peridise at the same time I got the Bliss #12 and Entice lube, which was near the end of November. I reviewed those two in late December/early January, but Peridise was a little more elusive.

As you may or may not know in mid-January I moved to Seattle. Somehow, between packing up and actually getting here my Peridise went missing. How did this happen, you ask? I have no idea! I bought a couple cases from For Your Nymphomation to make the sex toy transportation easier, but somehow Peridise did not make it in to one. I keep expecting to find it laying around the house somewhere obvious that I’ve somehow overlooked, but it hasn’t happened by now so it probably isn’t going to happen.

After many searches through everything Onyx and I own I came to the conclusion that I was not going to find it. However, since I still needed to review it and I didn’t feel I had tried it out enough times to do a decent review (plus I wanted to play with it more) I went along to the Babeland store here and bought a replacement set. Since it was a toy I knew I would want to use multiple times I didn’t fret too much about that.

Now, back to the Peridise itself. I’ve explained my strange road to reviewing it, but what exactly is it, and why does it seem like they spelled paradise incorrectly?

Aneros is famous for their fantastic anal products, specifically prostate simulators, which are usually sleek and stylish made out of hard plastic and shaped to be a hands-free p-spot stimulator.

Peridise is actually a unisex anal PC (pubococcygeus) muscle exerciser. There are plenty of vaginal kegel exercisers out there which also focus on the PC muscles, but this is the first unisex exerciser and the first anal one that I know of.

PC muscle exercises are always talked about in relation to females, as they are most popular as vaginal kegel exercises as I already mentioned, but they can also be useful for men. In case you don’t know, the benefits of kegel exercises increase urinary or bowel control and can also increase control over ejaculation. Specifically for females they also increase tightness of the vagina, prevent pelvic prolapse, and can increase sexual arousal/desire. For males they can diminish premature ejaculation, encourage multiple orgasms (especially multiples without ejaculation), and result in a stronger erection. All good things, right?

The design of the Peridise is meant to stimulate the peristaltic reflex of the sphincter which is the reaction of the anus to contract when something is inserted in it. The idea behind that is that once the head of the Peridise is inserted the rest of it should be sucked up into the body automatically, and crazy enough that happens!

Peristaltic is also what Peridise gets it’s name from. Peristaltic + Paradise = Peridise. Kinda neat, right?

Peridise comes in two sets: beginner and advanced. Assumption would dictate that the advanced set would be larger than the beginner, but it’s actually the opposite. The theory being that the better control you has over the PC muscle the smaller the objects are that you would be able to successfully grasp. Makes, sense, right?

Both sets come with two plugs. The beginner set has two four inch plugs which are 22mm and 18mm thick (or 3/5″ and 4/5″). The advanced set has two 3 3/4″ plugs which are only slightly thinner at 20mm and 16mm (or 7/10″ and 9/10″). One thing I love about getting two in a set is that if you have a partner to share Peridise with (and you’re not having anal sex at the moment) both of you can be wearing a plug during sex, which would increase pleasure for both!

Taking Panthera Pardus’ advice I decided to insert both the LELO Luna Beads (kegel exercisers) and Peridise at the same time and delicious doesn’t begin to cover it!

Both exercisers are somewhat small, but them combined with the squeezing of muscles around them was absolutely heavenly! This could easily be done with Smart Balls or new Teneo Smart Balls as well, or any other vaginal balls assuming you have the required orifices.

But I digress. What you probably really want to know, aside from all this technical mumbo jumbo is if Peridise does all the things it claims to do, right? Well, I believe it does. I know it encourages stronger orgasm, as I’ve seen the difference in Onyx and I’ve felt the difference in myself. The PC muscle strengthening is slightly more difficult to assess, but I feel like it has assisted me there as well.

Vibrator Review: Tuyo

I really hate to give bad reviews, but the loudness of the Tuyo was so distracting that I couldn’t get into it.

While not all Tuyo’s have this noise issue enough of them have it and enough people have complained about it that it is an issue with the toy and not just with my toy.

Sorry Big Teeze and Babeland! I really wanted to like Tuyo, the design is so awesome and unique that I really thought I would like it, but I really just can’t.

Thank you very much to Babeland for allowing me to review Tuyo!

Lube Review: Babeland Entice

I don’t really have a whole lot of lube experience, though I’m working on changing that. The two I’ve reviewed are only one more than I’ve ever owned. Water and oil based thus far, and Entice is no outlier.

Entice lube by Babeland is a water-based lube and is glycerin-free, something I’ve only just become conscious of when it comes to lube. Glycerin definitely adds an easy texture for lube makers, but it’s not good for your “down there” parts because it is a sugar derivative, which means it can cause yeast infections and other nasty things.

Entice is not, however, paraben-free, which surprised me considering the maker. Parabens are harmful chemicals that mimic estrogen and have been linked to breast cancer. Though there is no definitive word if they directly cause cancer, studies show various findings from null to bad, so it’s really best to err on the side of caution and avoid them. That’s not to say I won’t be using Entice, however, but it’s definitely something to keep in mind.

Entice may have my favorite lube bottle design yet. It has a pump, which is definitely the handiest lube bottle design, since you don’t have to do much to get some out in a hurry, just press down on the pump and let it squirt onto your fingers (apologies, I couldn’t help myself). Instead of being a screw-top pump bottle like my O’My Flavored Lube or most liquid soap dispenser bottles, it has a cap to keep it from being pushed when you don’t want it to, which I prefer.

The lube itself has practically no smell or taste to it either, so it won’t offend the senses. It is a very nice consistency: slick and smooth. I found that it turned sticky if I didn’t use enough of it after a bit of friction. However, if I used a good amount I didn’t feel it getting sticky at all, which is a plus. Water-based lubes have a tendency to get sticky in my experience, so I wasn’t surprised, but some tend to get stickier than others. Even if it does get sticky since it is water-based Entice is easy to wash off with just water.

In my quest for the perfect lubricant I still have many more to try out, but because of the ease of it’s design Entice will definitely be one I keep on my nightstand when quick easy lube is needed.
