After trying the Liberator Pulse I knew I had to get my hands on more of the toy compatible Liberator Shapes, so the next on my list was BonBon. My biggest hope for BonBon was that I could use it in partner sex. Although the images on the Liberator site don’t show this, it is definitely made for this purpose far more than Pulse is and, let me tell you, it did not disappoint.
BonBon is a domed piece of sex furniture that has a hole in the center of it to shove a dildo or vibrator in. Just about any kind of insertable dildo or vibrator will do (now referred to simply as “dildo” to prevent further awkward wording). For dildos without a base it works best if they are fairly long, about seven to ten inches, the njoy Eleven is actually a little long for it. Dildos with a wide sturdy base are all pretty much excellent, though the bigger the base the more force is required to get it in. For based dildos the length of the toy will also make a big difference depending on how long your thighs are and how easy it is for you to reach them while straddling, I find about five inches to be the minimum. Toys curved as deeply as the njoy Pure Wand, for instance, don’t work without a good amount of maneuvering, but there are plenty of others to choose from.
The dildo hole in BonBon can be altered depending on the type of toy you are using. It has a bit of fabric that can be pushed down into the hole quite a few inches deep to accommodate dildos without a base (see image on the left below). That same bit of fabric can also be pulled up and pushed to the side between the microsuede cover and the champagne foam core to cover the deeper hole and create a sturdier place for dildos with a base to sit. In case that makes absolutely no sense, take a look at the instructions. (Click on images to make them bigger).

Like all Liberator pieces BonBon is a sturdy positioning aid made of furniture-grade polyurethane foam that holds quite a bit of weight. Of course, the lighter you are the less the shape will compress, but I’m close to 250 pounds and I can easily sit on BonBon with minimal squishing. Back when I was 80 pounds heavier I recall still being held up well by Liberator products, though it also depends on the shape of the piece as well, but BonBon is a very solid piece.
The next layer up from the foam core is a water-resistant nylon slip-cover made to protect the foam from various sexual fluids. It zips off for easy access should you need to and is mostly covered so there is little need to clean it. This is my first product with the micro-suede cover rather than the microfiber or velvish other shapes sport. I believe the micro-suede is part of what allows the less expensive Liberator products to be less expensive, but that doesn’t mean it is cheap either. Far from it.

BonBon is made to be a hands-free solo sex device or an addition to sex play with one or more partners. It can easily be used by anyone who enjoys penetration regardless of sex or gender, though it does require straddling and therefore being on your knees. I have somewhat bad hips and often get uncomfortable while straddling, but I had no problem with BonBon. It is way easier than using a suction cup dildo or affixing a dildo to a flat surface and attempting to ride it that way due to the added height.
In addition to being used with toys BonBon can also be used as any other Liberator shape, to boost some body part or another to aid in penetration during partnered sex. It can be propped under the ass for additional lift and access to better g-spot or p-spot stimulation, straddled in a doggie-style position to do the same, used under the knees for a little extra lift or to help the lower back out while lying flat, or anything else you can think of to do with it. Since it’s not crazy high (about 9 inches) and has a nice soft slope I actually really enjoy using it as a pillow while reading in bed.

In use BonBon is excellent for both solo and partner sex. It is great for people like myself who love the in and out motion but who are unable to do that for themselves for whatever reason. I’m really quite a lazy masturbator sometimes, and BonBon is so easy to use that I have no excuse to be lazy. It is also pretty easy to get at my clit or cock with a vibrator or hand while riding BonBon, which is a big plus. I also hope it will help strengthen my hips and thighs so that having partner sex where I’m on top will become less of an issue. I’m not sure if that will happen, but it’s good to dream.
Getting into and out of different positions during partner sex was super easy, and BonBon added the extra little incline that ensures I get good g-spot action. I really have a fondness for these smaller Liberator shapes for partner sex as well. While the larger shapes are great the smaller ones are just so much easier to move around and tend to inspire a wider variety of positions. Not to mention the smaller ones are cheaper. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to try out the double penetration with toy and partner due to personal reasons01 even though I’ve been so wanting to, but Onyx and I have gotten into the positions and simulated experience and I am sure it would work fabulously for that as well.

Could I get the same experience without using BonBon? Well, it’s possible I could rig something on the arm of my couch or a pillow or a chair that would be somewhat similar. I really don’t think it would be the same at all, though. Perhaps the movement of the dildo would be the same or similar, but it would most likely be a lot less easy to clean up, less comfortable, less movable (or too squishy in the case of the pillow), and just generally inferior.
I might actually go so far as to say this is my favorite Liberator shape yet. I know, I know, I said that not too long ago about the Heart Wedge as well, and it is really close between the two of them. Big huge thanks to Liberator for sending me a BonBon to review in exchange for my honest opinion!

Vibrator Review: LELO Mia v2.0

I wrote my original Mia review over two years ago01 and although I have used it many times since then I haven’t picked it up in over a year, probably. It really hasn’t stayed one of my favorite toys and is no longer the only USB-powered vibrator around. I had a serious geekgasm the first time around and the second time around I was less impressed with the geeky aspect of it and more impressed with the slight changes LELO made that make a big difference.
The packaging, as always, is superb. Mia comes in LELO’s black box with a black02 slip-cover and the older style of a plastic insert inside. Accompanying it is the standard 10-year quality manual guarantee, 1-year warranty, and black satin storage bag as well as a USB-to-USB adapter in case it is inconvenient to have Mia attached directly to the USB port of your choice. With the abundance of USB ports in things other than a computer these days even if your computer should kick it you would be able to charge Mia.
Most of the features are the same. You can lock Mia so it won’t turn on when you don’t want it to. Mia’s light comes on when the buttons are pressed. Mia’s light turns red when it needs to be charged, blinks when it is charging, and turns solid when it is done charging03. Mia has multiple speeds accessed by pressing the plus button and multiple vibrations you can cycle through. Mia could be inserted only about an inch or two but is really made to be a clitoral stimulator.
The big difference between Mia v1.0 and Mia v2.0 is the intensity of the vibrations. Sure, I like the new sleek black color better than the two original pinks. The adjustment of the motor to be more in the tip is awesome. The lines in Mia’s lid to prevent it from going on any other way are handy. Even the fact that the light won’t come on if you press the minus button when Mia is off04 is pretty nice. But they are all far outweighed by the awesome change in vibrations.

The old version of Mia has a high-pitched buzz to it when it is on, and the vibrations are weak. Two plus years ago when it first came out it was cutting-edge, but still weak, but there have been a lot of improvements to the technology since then and today it doesn’t feel like a luxury toy. I can still get off with Mia v1.0, but it takes a long while which makes it not nearly as fun.
The new Mia is low and rumbly. It is also strong. Ridiculously strong for its size. When put side-by-side there is no question that they have completely different motors, though on the outside they look nearly identical. The greater concentration of vibrations at the tip is also just wonderful. I could tell you about the fancy laser test that LELO did to prove the difference in vibration speed complete with circles and whatnot, but it’s kind of superfluous and can be summed up in a few words: Mia v2.0 is stronger. The end.
The only possible thing I can complain about with Mia is that the point on the end is a little smaller than I generally like my vibrators to be. It can be difficult to maneuver when my brain is turned to mush but I want one more orgasm and can’t seem to get the right location05. But it’s not the end of the world. It’s not really that frustrating or bad, it’s just how it goes.
Mia is also the least expensive of all of LELO‘s vibrators. Just in case you needed another reason to want it.
Much thanks to LELO for sending me the new and improved Mia to review in exchange for my honest opinion!
Name: Mia.
Manufacturer: LELO.
Type: Vibrator.
Power: Rechargeable.
Material: ABS plastic and a bit of silicone.
Length: 4 1/2 inches.
Width: 7/8 of an inch.
Lube: Water- or oil-based preferred. Although there isn’t much silicone on it in order to turn it off you have to touch the silicone buttons and that doesn’t bode well if you’re using silicone lube. Silicone lube + silicone toys = potential disaster.
Care: Toy cleaner, anti-bacterial soap & water.

Review: Liberator Heart Wedge

Don’t tell anyone, but I’m kind of a sap and have a serious soft-spot for heart-shaped things. Even three of my eight tattoos are hearts or heart-shaped. So understandably when Liberator first released their Heart Wedge as a limited edition item I fell in love, which is also why I gave one away not too long ago01. Luckily Liberator has decided to add the Heart Wedge to their Home Decor Series so even though it started as a limited edition item it’s fixed to be around for a while.
The day I received my Heart Wedge I practically squealed from excitement, and cuddled with it nearly all day. It had just been a few days before that Onyx and I were trying to use the Liberator Ramp while I was pegging him with a strap-on and were having difficulty with the height, so it also came at just the perfect time. The Ramp is just a little too high for the length of my thighs and the Heart Wedge is five inches shorter.

Like all Liberator pieces the Heart Wedge is made of a firm but soft champagne foam core covered by a layer of water-resistant nylon and an outer luxurious layer that is easily unzipped and tossed in the wash when it gets dirty. Like Mae West said: sex is only dirty if you do it right, so being able to clean it easily is a must. The foam easily withstands my weighty hips without crushing down too much while also being super comfortable and so much better than using a pillow.
The outer layer on the Heart Wedge is Velvish instead of the usual Liberator microfiber, a feature of the Home Decor series that it is part of. As you can probably guess from the name it is made to feel like velvet and it does quite a good job at it, though it’s more similar to microfiber than to velvet, I believe. It is also what my couches are made out of (the purple backing for the pictures). I enjoy the feel of it, in some ways it feels smoother than the microfiber, but it’s just as sticky when you pair it with other Liberator pieces so it won’t slide around.

The height of the Heart Wedge really comes in handy for those times when you need just a little extra boost, like I mentioned above. It is also much easier to move around than the other Liberator shapes I have tried before due to its smaller size. We were not surprised to find out that the slight boost in height of my hips helped him hit my g-spot and get deeper than without it. While, sure, I can lift my hips up off the bed to achieve the same goal, I can’t do it constantly while also moving and wiggling and focusing on the sensations. It just makes things easier with a prop.
When it came to using it I was a little worried that the small shape wouldn’t quite work with my big body but I happily soon discovered I had no reason to worry. Although I am a little wider than its 19 inches it wasn’t at all uncomfortable or awkward while in use. In fact, I would say it was wicked easy to use, convenient, and comfortable. It might even be my favorite Liberator product yet!

Big huge thanks to Liberator for sending me a Heart Wedge to review!

Vibrator Review: Wahl All-Body Massager

Although I had heard about the Wahl from other bloggers I trust as being an amazingly awesome vibrator I had my doubts. I’ve tried quite a few massager-style vibrators before and I just figured it would be another Hitachi and in no way match or outweigh my love for my Fairy Mini Mini, but I was wrong. While it’s somewhat similar the sensation is different.
Wahl is like a clitoral jackhammer. It’s deep and throbby and amazing. Like a lot of other massager vibes it has two speeds: gentle intensity, and omgholyfuckthatsgood. The second and higher setting gets me off in about 30 seconds. It’s powerful, unrelenting, and did I mention it’s amazing?
It actually feels to me like Wahl’s sensations are more similar to the oscillations of Eroscillator than the vibrations of other massager-style vibrators, only with more power. They’re not exactly the same by any means, but there seems to be a bit of back-and-forth movement with Wahl just like with Eroscillator. This could be my imagination, but it’s my experience. I would almost go so far as to say Wahl is better than my precious Eroscillator. Almost. However, when price is taken into consideration Wahl wins hands down since it’s far less expensive. This means you should get one.

Attachments
Since it’s an “all-body massager” it comes with eight attachments for various parts of the body. Of course this means I’ve used them all on my clit and I’ve also used these on some of the intended body parts. The Wahl also rocks as a back massager. Win.
I had a difficult time with some of these the first time I tried to put them each on the Wahl. They are quite stiff and so is the little shaft you insert them onto and mine seemed to be just a little smaller than that shaft. Probably good for them not falling off, but irritating at first. They’ve since mellowed out a bit and are not so much a problem.
Clockwise from 12 o’clock (the one with multiple little spikes).
- Scalp “Acupressure points stimulate blood flow and massage the scalp.” – Amazing on what it’s made for: the scalp, but not so great other places. It’s okay on sensitive bits like nipples and I’ve used it on my clit but it’s just not all that exciting. The little
- Knuckle & Joints “Triangular shape to get into knuckles and joints.” – I really like this one, easy to use either the point of the triangle or one of the sides. It slips easily between my labia and nestles against my clit. Lovely.
- Spot Application “Pin-point massage.” – Excellent. Amazing. Perfect for clit stimulation. This is my favorite, hands-down. It’s exactly what it says, pin-point massage that gets right against my clit and rocks it like a fucking jackhammer. That might sound painful, but it’s awesome. I love it.
- Deep Muscle “Digs deep to reach those tight knots and helps to relieve pain.” – Deep indeed! Super deep and throbby, excellent on the clit. I thought the circles on the sides would be weird and get in the way or something but they don’t. This is somewhat similar to Spot Application but wider, which makes for a different sensation, vibrating my labia as well instead of just my clit.
- General Body “All-over soothing.” – Excellent for nipples, I wish it could cup the clit the way I envision it should but it doesn’t. It’s nice, but not great.
- Muscle Kneading “Stimulates blood circulation.” – Ooh, ahh, yes. I love this one as well, though I was wary of it at first it has grown in my love. It’s tied with Deep Muscle as my 2nd favorite, as it’s just as deep and wonderful.
- Facial “A smooth surface for a gentle massage to the face.” – Kind of similar to General Body. It’s wide and only slightly concave. The wideness and flatness of it is a little peculiar and I definitely prefer other attachments on my clit, but it’s nice on other places.
Really, I was just blown away by Wahl, far more than I imagined I would be. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Much thanks to My Pleasure for sending me the Wahl to review!

Heavy Metal Week – Dildo Review: njoy Pure Wand
Written by Oct 22, 2010, 23:38

The njoy Pure Wand is, frankly, amazing, and I think everyone with a g-spot or p-spot should own one. Need more? It’s beautifully crafted and angled perfectly to hit just the right spot in just about anyone. I don’t think I’ve read a review of it that said differently. For me the use of it is pretty much a guarantee that I’m going to squirt, and I know it works the same way for others as well. Normally I say that every toy works differently for every person, and while that’s true with the Pure Wand I also think it will find the right place on everyone.
Now, I did have a bit of a learning curve (no pun intended) with the Pure Wand (PW). Instead of the usual thrusting that I can do with other g-spot specific toys I have to rock or jostle the PW against my g-spot. Because of the unyielding nature of the pure stainless steel PW is made of if I thrust it against my g-spot it gets sore and crazy sensitive extra quickly, so I have to be nice and gentle with it.
Still, there’s no other g-spot toy that I have that finds the g-spot with such amazing accuracy and gives the perfect amount of pressure and sensation to it. Let me say that again: no other toy gives as good g-spot stimulation as the Pure Wand. Seriously. Take a few moments to let that sink in.

The brilliance of the PW is in the curve, I believe. It’s extreme, and I can’t think of another toy that has the same curve. It may seem like it’s too extreme for you, it felt that way for me when I first got it, I thought it was almost too much, since other and often even mildly curved toys will do well on my g-spot, but there is nothing that gets close to the PW except maybe it’s larger sibling the Eleven (review coming tomorrow).
How does it do it? My theory is that the steel and the weight of the PW somehow combine to create one point five pounds of hard pure orgasmic win. Don’t take it from me, try it for yourself.
I also love that just about every time I pick up my PW it is very cool. My bedroom is usually kept at a low temperature and so the PW gets time to suck in all that cold and then try to steal the heat from my flesh. If I wanted to I could run it under some warm water to warm it up before using it, but the feeling of the cool steel against me is just too enjoyable to give up.
The conclusion: go get one. Fascinations, aside from sending me the njoy Pure Wand to review also has one of the lowest prices on the PW that I have seen out there. I’m not just saying that. Most other places it’s over $100, and rightfully so. It’s worth every penny.

Vibrator Review: LELO Ina

Ina is remarkably similar to Mona, in fact they came out at the same time and are nearly identical except Ina is a dual-action vibrator and therefore has an additional arm jutting out from the top of it designed to hit the clit. I’ve not reviewed or experienced too many dual-action vibrators, I tend to steer clear of them since they are so anatomy dependent and usually not made out of silicone, but my LELO fetish made Ina impossible to resist obtaining. My quest to own every LELO product would not be put aside simply because of the possibility of Ina not lining up with me perfectly.
At first I was mildly indifferent to this toy, thinking I would love Mona more and that no LELO item could top my beloved Gigi. I knew Ina would be gorgeous and wonderful, still an amazing pleasure object simply by nature of being made by LELO, but since dual-action style vibrators are so anatomy dependent I wasn’t sure it would work with me. I was encouraged by other reviews of it, as it seems to be one of those toys that either works for you perfectly or is an absolute failure, and I had to find out which it would be for me. Ina exceeded all of my expectations and then some.
Like all LELO toys Ina comes in a fancy black box with a sleeve over it that matches the color of the toy inside. I had thought I wanted a purple Ina, but upon receiving my lime green Ina I was instantly in love with the color. The box contains the toy, a charging cord (all LELO toys are rechargeable), a multi-language instructional booklet, a one-year warranty, and LELO’s 10-year quality guarantee. If anything goes wrong with Mona within ten years after purchasing LELO will recycle Mona and give you 50% off your next purchase.
Ina’s controls are the newfangled design identical to Mona and Siri. There are four buttons arranged in a diamond near the bottom of the toy: an up arrow (top), a down arrow (bottom), a plus button (right), and a minus button (left). The plus and minus buttons control the intensity of the vibrations and the up and down buttons control the vibration type. As I already mentioned, Ina is rechargeable. When plugged in the buttons of the toy flash white and turn solid when Ina is fully charged. If you use Ina to the point of a nearly drained battery the buttons will conveniently let you know of this by glowing red when you try to turn it on.
Like all of LELO’s newest vibrators Ina is stronger and less buzzy than it’s predecessors. One of the noteworthy things about Ina’s design that is becoming more and more common among luxury sex toys is there are two separate motors inside of it, one in the insertable shaft and the other at the tip of the clitoral arm.
Ina has eight vibration settings which take advantage of the double motors with patterns that shift from one motor to the other. For the most part I just use the first setting, a constant vibration in both the shaft and the arm. The other vibration settings are: vibration mostly in the shaft and a little in the arm, vibration mostly in the arm and a little in the shaft, alternating pulse between arm and shaft, in sync pulse in both, a rollercoaster vibration in both, a second rollercoaster-type vibration that is different in a way I cannot explain, and a vibration pattern I can only describe as random pulses that kind of sound like a song.
Luckily the clitoral arm is super flexible, otherwise I would not like Ina at all. After inserting the shaft I have to bend and flex the arm to get it in the right position, if I just left it where it falls naturally I would get absolutely no clitoral stimulation at all and if that was the case I would simply use Mona instead. I say “luckily” because once I do get Ina positioned correctly it takes me nearly no time at all to have a wonderful hands-free orgasm.
This is the beauty of Ina. The arm, being positioned correctly, inserts an unbelievable amount of pressure. I love pressure in all things clitoral (except my Eroscillator) and I love Ina’s pressure. I love having something inserted and something on my clit and Ina is the only toy I own that does both of these very well and simultaneously. Does this mean Ina is my favorite toy ever? No. That honor is happily bestowed on the Eroscillator. It does mean, however, that Ina is amazing, compact, and a great dual-action vibrator and Ina is my favorite LELO toy. And that’s saying something.
Because Ina does everything it is also not the best couples toy, assuming your partner wants to be doing something to your genitals at the same time. If that’s not an issue then just forget I said anything.
As I already mentioned, the downfall of dual action vibrators are that they are so anatomy dependent. Ina will either work perfectly for you or not at all, and which one it is is nearly impossible to determine without trying the toy. Because of the flexibility in the clitoral arm I do believe Ina has a wider range for working with bodies than most dual action vibrators, but it may be a bit of a gamble if it will work with you or not.

Review: The Eroscillator
Written by Sep 29, 2010, 16:26

Inspired by Epiphora’s glorious review I knew I had to get an Eroscillator for my very own. I had hoped it would be epic, amazing, the
I can’t say the Eroscillator is completely perfect. It has a bit of a learning curve and to call it attractive is generous to say the least. Part of the reason so many people aren’t so interested in it, I think–and why I didn’t look twice at it the first time I saw it–is the color and shape.
It’s slightly reminiscent of an electric toothbrush with it’s wide round body and changeable heads, and the ribs on the sides don’t really enhance the beauty of it, not to mention the strange shapes of the heads. It’s not exactly small or light, for that matter, compared to other vibrators. Whenever I introduce it to people I always mention they should ignore the way it looks and just concentrate on how it feels. Unfortunately it’s difficult to do that until you’ve bought it, so you’ll just have to take my word for it.
The Material & Care
The Eroscillator body is made of plastic and is an easy width to grip and because of the grooves it doesn’t get too slippery when lube is on it, though it’s rare to get lube on the handle of the toy and more likely to be just on the changeable heads. I was ecstatic to be sent the Top Deluxe / Soft Finger Combo. This includes the Top Deluxe Eroscillator which offers more power than the regular Eroscillator 2 Plus.
The package I was sent also comes with six of the seven attachments, all but the G-Point which seems similar to both the Ball and Cup and Golden Spoon. For the most part I just use one of the seven attachments anyway, but I am interested to try the last one as well. The Ultra Soft Finger Tip is made of medical silicone elastomer and all of the other attachments are made from Silicone-coated TPR, which makes them phthalate free and non-porous so they are completely body-safe and can be shared. More on the attachments below.
It is not rechargeable, it plugs in to the wall with a massively long cord that is excessive in my bedroom but is so nice to know that it is virtually impossible to pull it out of the socket because of the length. The cord is a whopping twelve feet. It is also detachable from the base, that combined with the length of the cord makes it highly unlikely that the cord itself would get damaged at either end from stress. The detachable cord also makes it easier to store.
According to the site and information included with the toy it is supposed to be watertight once an attachment is slipped in place and the cord on the bottom is turned as well, so you can run it under water. Theoretically this should mean you can take it into the shower as well, and I’ve longed to test this theory but have not had the courage to do it. I love it too much to risk even the possibility of ruining it.
The Attachments

As I mentioned above, there are seven attachments that the Eroscillator can come with and I have six of them.
- Ultra Soft Finger-Tip – Definitely, hands-down, and without question my favorite attachment. This is the one that has been on the base probably 99% of the time since it came in the mail. It is soft and squishy, Epiphora refers to it as the marshmallow and I have taken to doing the same. It’s not sophisticated or full of bumps and ridges like many of the other ones, but I think that is an advantage rather than disadvantage. It’s also softer, so it’s less harsh, and really just lovely.
- Grapes and Cockscomb – The one I reach for second most, but not nearly as much as the marshmallow. When it is sufficiently lubed up I really enjoy the feeling of the “grapes” half, but I’ve never gotten the “cockscomb” to do that much for me, it’s just a narrow ridge that’s, well, strange to use.
- Seven Pearls of the Orient – Truthfully all the ones from here on are rated about equally, with this one just slightly above the rest. It’s the best attachment for showing the oscillations because it’s the smallest at the tip and you can easily visibly see the tip moving to and fro about a half inch in the air when it is on. I really figured I would like this one because of that, but it never produces enough sensation for me to really get off with it as well as the three above.
- Ball and Cup – An interesting concept, a cup to hug the clit while in use, with enough lube it’s mildly pleasurable, but mostly it’s just okay. I do enjoy the rounded “ball” side of it more, however, with it’s three little nubs, but even that side holds no candle to the marshmallow.
- French Legionnaire’s Moustache – This one is odd in name, appearance, and sensation. I kind of enjoy the “moustache” fluttering against my mons and labia, it tickles too much for me to enjoy using the sides of it on my clit, though. I hate tickles. It’s just really strange, though, and an unusual sensation, which is kind of cool but also mildly disturbing.
- Golden Spoon – Similar to the Ball and Cup but without the rounded feature which I actually kind of enjoyed about that one. This one is just flat and annoying. The bumpy side is still mildly pleasureable with enough lube, the “spoon” is just horrid.

The Use
The Eroscillator has three intensity settings and is controlled easily by a slide switch on the side of the toy. It conveniently shows a 1, 2, or 3 depending on which level it is on. It’s ridiculously quiet for being such a large and powerful thing, and has never overheated despite strenuous testing.
Although it is “[d]esigned exclusively for sexual excitement of the female genitalia” I have thoroughly tested it on (Onyx’s) male genitalia and found it to be quite satisfactory there as well. It supposedly can also be used for body massage but every time I have thought about using it for that it quickly gets moved to it’s intended area.
It has a bit of a learning curve but the orgasms it produces are worth it. It took me a little while to figure out how I could use it for maximum pleasure and a little bit for my clit to adapt to the new sensations. It doesn’t feel like a regular vibrator. The sensations produced by it are deeper, for lack of a better term. Whenever I use it I have to spread my labia apart in order to have enough room for the head to oscillate back and forth on my clit. This was annoying at first since I had to figure out how exactly to do that while holding the rather large Eroscillator, but once I got used to doing this it’s not a big deal. Of course, whether or not you would have to do this depends greatly on your anatomy.
It’s also backwards. Normally I like pressure on my clit, lots and lots of pressure, as it tends to enhance vibration. This is part of why I love my Fairy Mini Mini. The Eroscillator, however, gets weaker when pressed harder against the clit as it has less room to move so it’s oscillations become slower and shorter. This also took time to figure out. I still find myself occasionally pressing it down as I’m nearing orgasm which does the opposite of what it is intended to. It’s not that big of a drawback, however, compared to it’s rewards. Now that I know how it works with my anatomy it’s become my favorite clitoral vibrator and is simply amazing. I’m honestly not sure I can adequately put in words how much I love this thing.
The Eroscillator is the only toy I have tried that I can say has it’s own unique orgasm. One that is different than the ones I get from other toys. One that is more intense and feels similar to the orgasm I get after a long build-up of Onyx rubbing my clit, which makes sense because it’s a similar motion, but in a fraction of the time. I still appreciate other toys and can have more orgasms from other toys than I can the Eroscillator since it tends to wear me out faster, however I definitely reach for my Eroscillator far more than any other toy.
It also usually takes me about 30 seconds to come with this toy when I’m alone, maybe as much as 90 if I’m not already aroused, and in between those when using it with Onyx. He has come to realize I will ask for it if I am too sensitive for his fingers or if I need to come quickly because we have limited time. I very rarely am unable to come with it, and the only times I have been unable to were after already coming many times when I just didn’t have any more in me. Seriously. Love.
Obviously it is not perfect, but it is probably as close to perfect as any sex toy can come. Probably the least perfect part of it is the price. It’s not a cheap toy, but it might be the only clitoral stimulator you need, if you can get past the learning curve. If mine was to ever malfunction or die on me after the one year warranty was up you bet I would buy another one, and probably the same package so I could have a Top Deluxe and a Marshmallow (Ultra Soft Finger Tip).

Thank you so much to Eroscillator for sending me their product to review!

Lube Review: Aloe Cadabra – Tahitian Vanilla

I’ve had my bottle of Aloe Cadabra Lubricant for far too long. Embarrassingly long. In fact, I lost it for quite a few months and just recently found it again. The wonderful thing is even after all this time it still works just as well as the first time I tried it. It is quite similar to the other aloe-based lube I tried and absolutely loved in feel, use, and ingredients, but it is easier and cheaper to obtain if you are in the US (you can use the discount code “TOUCH” to get free shipping on your first order).
Aloe Cadabra is mostly made up of the obvious: aloe. It’s basically organic aloe vera gel with a little bit of organic vanilla essential oil and some preservatives. Does this mean you could go out and buy aloe vera gel to the same result? Maybe. If you could find one without added nasty ingredients, which is part of the whole purpose of Aloe Cadabra and why it was created. A lot of aloe vera gels out there include things like alcohol, coloring, parabens, and probably more.
It contains no parabens or glycerin. While the additives citric acid, potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate have been documented as having the potential for negative health effects they only come into play in large doses. They are also all natural ingredients, not man-made chemicals, and I have not experienced any irritation or negative effects from use.
I have the Tahitian Vanilla scented version, Aloe Cadabra also comes in French Lavender and Natural/Unscented. The scent is definitely noticeable but not distracting or unappealing. For the most part it tastes and smells like aloe, so mildly plant-like, but again not distracting or unappealing. It is actually kind of nice, but that might be my inner hippie talking.
I also really enjoy the feel of this lubricant. It feels slick, is quite thick and really does feel quite natural both on the fingers and the vulva. Aloe is an anti-inflammatory and naturally soothes and heals skin making this lubricant especially wonderful should you have any sort of vulval irritation such as razor burn or anything equally unpleasant.
Since it doesn’t contain glycerin it’s not sticky in the least bit. It does absorb into the skin a little bit and does need to occasionally be reapplied, but much less frequently than some of the water-based lubes I’ve tried. Since it’s fairly thick it makes a wonderful anal lube, as long as you keep in mind that it will absorb into the skin a bit and use accordingly.
Overall I really love this lube, it feels great, tastes great, doesn’t get sticky, and is very body friendly. I wish I hadn’t lost it for all those months because I definitely would have been using it that entire time, and would probably need another bottle by now!
Much thanks to Live Well Brands for sending me Aloe Cadabra Tahitian Vanilla to review!

Review: Tunti Illuminating Boudoir Toybox

All lit up in the dark.
As I mentioned in my last review of The Original ToiBocks I recently spent a few months living with my father. During this time I started really understanding the need for secure and discreet sex toy storage. While I really enjoy the product I reviewed yesterday and these both are toy storage they are also radically different. Well, maybe not radically, but definitely quite different. The Tunti Illuminating Boudoir Toybox is still discreet, but not trying to be a dresser, nightstand, or bathroom item like the ToiBocks. Where the Tunti shines (no pun intended–more on that in a moment) is as a secure and solid transportation and storage device.
The Tunti is hard on the outside and soft on the inside and looks much like an expensive camera case which is actually the base of the design for the toybox. Or perhaps like something James Bond would carry around and whip out a camera, gun, bomb, or some clever gadget from Q. Either way it’s pretty classy. There are no markings on the outside of the box to give away what might be stashed inside of it. It opens with two latches on either side of the handle, both of which lock, and comes with two identical keys (I keep one on my keychain at all times and one in a drawer).

The sleek camera-case looking exterior.
What I love about it probably more than any other feature is the row of LED lights it has on the top side of the case, hence the “illuminating” part of the name of course. These make it very easy to see every inch inside the case, not to mention in a dark or dimly lit room. It’s so easy to find exactly what I’m looking for, and should I need to reach for something in a dark room I don’t have to fumble around or turn on a light to get to it. I like this a lot.

Inside in the light and minus the plastic divider.
It has a mesh pocket in the top side of the case which I think is perfect for lubes and massage oils (as you can see in the images). A pink plastic divider (shown below but not in the image directly above) separates the top and bottom halves keeping your toys free from mess in case any of the liquid spills. It’s pretty perfect, really, although I would prefer another color for the divider, but that’s not a big deal. The divider is the only place that has any indication of the company you purchased from, so for an added measure of security (if you were to use this case for something other than sex toys, for example, and you didn’t want it to be associated with sex toys) you could not use the divider.
One downside of the divider is it makes it so some toys won’t fit into the case, or the divider will sit unevenly in the case. Basically anything with a large base or body that exceeds approximately 2 1/2″. Many Fun Factory dildos have triangular bases which don’t fit, and anything large won’t fit either. However they can fit without the divider, and most toys aren’t that tall.

Tunti logo on the divider.
The little box at the bottom of the right hand side of the top section of the case holds the batteries for the LED lights, I like how it blends in with the case and doesn’t really look out of place. I would love to have more of these little compartments across the bottom to hold spare batteries as well, I think that would be an excellent addition to the case. The only downside of the illumination and batteries is there is no on/off switch, basically in order to turn off the LED’s while the case is open you have to take the batteries out. Again, this isn’t really a big annoyance, just a minor one, but the battery-saving option of an on/off switch would be nice to have.

Battery compartment!
My other favorite feature, and the one that makes my inner obsessive-compulsive perfectionist squeel with glee, is the ability to customize the layout of the bottom section of the case. The only things that are not customizable are the horizontal divider right in the center and the mesh pocket at the very back. The rest, the three vertical dividers and one horizontal divider, can each be moved around however you see fit, so you can make sure the slots fit the toys perfectly to avoid unnecessary rolling around and the potential to chip glass or mush into unwanted materials such as silicone to TPE.

There are eleven toys. Can you name them all? A lot of these I haven’t reviewed yet.
Because of the mesh pocket at the top it’s easiest to use the vertical dividers on the bottom half of the case, though not impossible to use on the top half. I thought a couple of pictures illustrating a variation would show this best, so as you can see I chose some of the same toys and some different and most of the dividers that can move are in different spots. It is ridiculously easy to use the dividers, just slide them into place in the slots on the sides and they fit in perfectly. The dividers and sides are made of foam, but pretty sturdy stuff, and don’t bend or crease very easily.

Organized slightly differently, now there are fourteen toys.
Because of it’s wonderful portability, stability, and organizational properties I am in love with The Tunti Illuminating Boudoir Toybox. It is definitely my favorite sex toy storage device, though I do have two six-drawer organizers for most of my toys and a few other storage options. Thank you so much Tunti Enterprises for sending me your Illuminating Boudoir Toybox to review!

Dildo Review: Fun Factory Wave

The second I saw the Fun Factory Wave I fell in love. It comes in purple and turquoise01, both colors are gorgeous and rich in true Fun Factory fashion. I absolutely love Fun Factory toys not just because they come in a wide variety of colors and extremely unique shapes but also because they only use body-safe materials.
Like most other Fun Factory toys the Wave is made out of 100% medical-grade silicone. It is glossy and smooth, so with a dab of lube02 it is easy to insert and thrust with. It is fairly hard silicone as well, not as hard as glass or metal obviously, but more firm than other silicone toys I have experienced (the Fun Factory Curve, for example is softer than Wave).
Silicone is non-porous, phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, super easy to clean and sterilize-able so it can be shared between partners (fluid-bonded or not) without having to worry about bacteria getting caught in it03 or anything like that. The easiest way to sterilize silicone is just to pop it in the dishwasher on the top rack with no soap, you can also boil it for 10 minutes in a large pot, or wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution. To clean, simply wash with soap and water. Since this is a dildo without any mechanical or buzzy vibrating parts it can be completely submerged without the risk of damage.

Although this is not my second Fun Factory dildo this is the second I’ve owned with this particular base, the first being Bandito. The base is nice and thick, about 1/2 inch at least, and instead of being circular it has a triangle-like shape to it. The design of the base makes it extremely easy to grip, each indent in the triangle is a perfect place to hold on to while thrusting.
It also is perfect for use in a harness. As long as you have the correct o-ring size it will not slip out as the thickness of the base prevents it from warping out of the ring. The triangle shape makes it fit well in any harness, fitting with the natural triangle shape of the pubic mound and making it extremely comfortable. While the base is not made to be a suction-cup, but it is slightly concave and can work somewhat well as one if you try.
The dildo itself is fairly long, seven and a half inches, which makes it excellent for use in a harness by a larger person04 such as myself as you can easily see it. I think longer dildos give more control over movements in some way as well, with shorter toys I tend to slip out more often, but longer ones are easier to keep inside. It is also gracefully curved and hits the g-spot easily and wonderfully. The firmness of the silicone really makes it ideal for g-spot or p-spot stimulation.

As you can see in the pictures above the shaft is also where Wave gets it’s name. It has three distinct “waves” in it which each are gradually larger than the other. They have a nice curve to them so they are not jarring when inserted but, rather, a pleasant sensation. They give the feeling of fullness without the shaft being too thick in and of itself.
I have used Wave both in a harness and solo and I think it shines both ways, the ridges on it are lovely, gradually increasing in side and giving delightful sensation when moving in and out. It is currently one of my favorite harness-compatible toys. If you love ribbed dildos or just want to try one I would definitely say this is a wonderful one to try.
You can find the Fun Factory Wave as well as other dildos and sex toys of every flavor on Vibrator.com. A big huge thank you to Vibrator.com for providing me with the Fun Factory Wave!

- The color I chose, so vibrant and lovely! [↩]
- Non-silicone lube ONLY unless you want your toy to die a most horrible messy splotchy sticky and gross death! [↩]
- Porous toys can trap bacteria within them which can then be transferred between partners without a barrier such as a condom. Yuck! [↩]
- Read: someone with a gut [↩]
