I was very interested in trying out the Wet Naturals line because I am trying to only use lubricant which is both glycerin- and paraben-free, and the three products in this line are specifically designed for those who are sensitive to or trying to avoid these chemicals.
They also boast of being enriched with natural ingredients such as aloe, grapefruit seed extract, and red clover extract, though I’m not really sure the added benefit of these things. They are all “designed to enhance a woman’s natural moisture” according to the Wet Naturals website, and are supposed to be hypoallergenic.
Product Line: Wet Naturals
Manufacturer: Wet
Glycerin-free: Yes
Paraben-free: Yes
Organic: No
Vegan: Yes
Overall Rating: 3 Lotuses (out of 5) – Good & Recommended

Name: Beautifully Bare
Type Water-based
Compatibility: Works with all toy types. Latex safe. Body safe.
Ingredients: Water, PEG, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Polysorbate-20, Sodium Benzoate, Diazolidinyl Urea, Triethanolamine, Citric Acid, Carbomer, Tetrasodium EDTA, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Citrus
Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate), Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cran-berry) Fruit Extract, Trifolium Pratense (Clover) Flower Extract, Ascorbic Acid.
Rating: 3 Lotuses (out of 5) – Good & Recommended

Experience
Usually water-based lubes that are glycerin-free are pretty thin, and unfortunately this is also the case for Beautifully Bare, which is annoying. The positive side is that the lube itself lasts quite a long time even without glycerin, though since it is quite thin you have to use quite a bit of it.
After a while it does end up absorbing into the skin, which is purposeful according to the Wet Naturals website, because “[o]nce absorbed, it leaves your skin silky soft and smooth.” A little strange for that to be part of it’s purpose, but it’s not really a negative though I wouldn’t really say that should be one of it’s main marketing points.
One big plus is that it has no negative taste or smell whatsoever, which is something I’ve run into with the last two glycerin- and paraben-free lubes. Overall it’s a great water-based lube, nothing too spectacular, but because it’s glycerin- and paraben-free I definitely recommend it over most other lubes.
Name: Sensual Strawberry
Type Flavored water-based
Compatibility: Works with all toy types. Latex safe. Body safe.
Ingredients: Water, PEG, Flavor, Aspartame, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Polysorbate-20, Sodium Benzoate, Diazolidinyl Urea, Triethanolamine, Citric Acid, Carbomer, Tetrasodium EDTA, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate), Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cran-berry) Fruit Extract, Trifolium Pratense ( Clover) Flower Extract, Ascorbic Acid.
Rating: 4 Lotuses (out of 5) – Very Good & highly Recommended

Experience
It smells like strawberry soda, which is pretty awesome actually, but not everyone would like to be reminded of strawberry Shasta while having sex. The taste isn’t really very strong at all, which I like, and is very pleasant, which is somewhat rare for a flavored lubricant. This is the first flavored lube that I have no qualms with the smell or taste of, which is pretty impressive.
I’m not super into flavored lube in general, but I enjoy the natural taste of my partners and don’t usually want to cover it up too much. One thing I’ve thought flavored lube may be wonderful for is analingus, especially for those wanting to try it but worried about potential yuck factor. While thorough cleaning will usually take care of any potential negative taste adding flavored lube may just simply help someone who is worried about negative taste be less nervous.
As far as the lube itself goes, it’s quite similar to Beautifully Bare in almost every regard. This makes sense considering it is also water-based and from the same line. It is fairly thin, but doesn’t absorb too quickly into the skin, and overall is extremely pleasant and my favorite flavored lube to date.
Name: Silky Supreme
Type Silicone-based
Compatibility: Works with all non-silicone toys. Latex safe. Body safe.
Ingredients: Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethiconol, Cyclomethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate).
Rating: 3 Lotuses (out of 5) – Good & Recommended

Experience
This is actually the first silicone lube I’ve ever used, mostly because I tend to prefer silicone toys and since silicone lube plus silicone toys is not a good idea. Because of that I’ve stayed away from silicone lube, though I’ve always been curious to try some. Luckily I have quite a few glass toys which silicone lube works well with, as well as the Njoy Fun Wand, so I was able to enjoy this lube alone as well as with toys.
Unfortunately, it being my first silicone lube I don’t have a whole lot to compare it to, but I did notice a distinct difference between it and it’s water-based counterparts. The silicone lube simply feels different, though it’s difficult to explain. It definitely lasts a lot longer, which is a plus, because it seems to create a layer that never goes away until you wash it off unlike the water-based lubes which have a tendency to absorb into the skin. It’s simply silkier, hence the name I would presume, not because it’s smoother but because of that added layer, the extra silicone ingredient which gives it it’s own special texture.
It has no particular taste or smell to it, but that silky feeling is left on your tongue if it is tasted. It’s not necessarily a negative, but it’s definitely strange, especially to someone who is not used to silicone lube.
Overall I enjoyed Silky Supreme, although I doubt I’ll end up using it too often since it is silicone-based and most of my favorite toys are made of silicone. However, it is wonderful for partner sex and for non-silicone-on-silicone experiences.
You can find water-based Beautifully Bare, silicone-based Silky Supreme and flavored water-based Sensual Strawberry Wet Naturals lube, along with other Lubes and Lotions and sex toys of every flavor on SexToy.Com.
Much thanks to SexToy.Com and Wet for letting me review the Wet Naturals line!

Review: Agent Secret Game

I was really excited to receive the Agent Secret Game because it’s made by the same people as my Regard Indiscret Set which I absolutely adore. I thought it would be a cute light bondage set. I really really wanted to like it. Unfortunately it really didn’t live up to my expectations. At all.
The basic idea behind the set is to create a sexy interrogation scene. Agent 001 uses what’s in hir bag to write down a sexy desire on the card, then lock the card with the padlock and Agent 002 can then use the sexy stuff in hir bag to pleasure-torture the combination to the padlock out of Agent 001.
Going into it I knew that the items were not going to be hardcore bondage and torture items. I didn’t expect this, but I did expect them to be at least semi-high quality.
Since there is a suspension of disbelief that goes on in roleplaying I can accept that the card to write the fantasy on and lock is made out of cardstock which the padlock could be easily ripped off of. That’s alright.
I did, however, expect the satin mask included to be Bijoux’s Shhhh Blindfold, mostly because Babeland has a link to the Shhhh blindfold in the description of the Agent Secret Game. I was highly disappointed when the blindfold I pulled out was a really basic sleep-mask type blindfold with an elastic band on the back. While the blindfold is more padded than usual sleep-masks (I think, anyway) it was highly disappointing.
Next, the vibrating ring. I admit I may be spoiled because the first cock ring we tried was the LELO Bo, however the vibrating ring which was included in the set appears to be jelly. I cannot confirm the material of the vibrating ring because there is no real information about it other than brief instructions on how to turn it on. It doesn’t overly smell but it definitely looks suspiciously like jelly.
Other than being jelly what also bothered me is that the color of the cock ring is not coordinated with the rest of the set at all. Everything else in the set is either black, white, grey, or red and black, the cock ring is a pinkish orange color that just disrupts the sexy dark tones going on in the set. Not impressed.
The feather tickler, on the other hand, looks fairly nice. I dig the colors, it’s red and black and nice looking, though I’m not actually a fan of ticking in any sense at all ever, but the handle seems well constructed and it has a wrist-loop of polyester or nylon cord. I pulled a little on the feathers and they did not fall apart or anything, so I call it a fairly decent win.
Lastly, the bondage ribbons. Maybe I just had too high of hopes for them, but they are not what I was hoping for or expecting. They are two ribbons that are two and a half (2 1/2) feet or thirty (30) inches long. Each ribbon has a french phrase written on it: “Attache-moi et libere mon secret” which means “Tie me and free my secret,” which is pretty cute.
One end of each ribbon has a really long button-hole sewn into it and the instructions tell you to feed the other end of the ribbon through that hole to use. It does not offer further instructions, but I assume that then the ribbons could be tied together with the long excess ribbon, around a bed post perhaps or to separate objects. It seems like a strange way to do things, but okay, it kind of works.
One ribbon is a little too short to successfully tie around a wrist assuming you want to go around more than once, though maybe because of, you know, suspension of disbelief and all that, they don’t need to be that tight. Honestly, I’m not sure what I was expecting the bondage ribbons to look like, but I expected them to be higher quality than the ones I got, which seem thin and are a little too stiff to be super comfortable.
The entire set is cute, I love the tin box it comes in and how it’s separated for each “Agent” but despite the cuteness factor I was just not impressed with the set as a whole. Maybe I’m just too picky, or maybe I was expecting too much, I’m not sure, but either way I was disappointed when I opened the set.
I think this would probably be a good set for a very vanilla couple who is just starting to explore kink, but for anyone with the slightest bit of experience you may be just as disappointed as I. Even so, you could probably get these items separately for cheaper than the set itself, then again you wouldn’t get the round black tin box.
Much thanks to Babeland for letting me review the Agent Secret Game!
Name: Agent Secret Game
Manufacturer: Bijoux Indiscrets
Contents: Black round hat tin containing two black polyester bags: one bag for “Agent 001,” one bag for “Agent 002.” In the bag for Agent 001: a card to write down your “secret desire” on, the pencil to write with, and a padlock to lock the card. In the bag for Agent 002: black bondage ribbons, a red and black feather tickler, a vibrating cock ring, and a satin mask.

Review: Sex Clean Toy Cleaner
Written by Apr 10, 2009, 15:46

I’ve been interested in toy cleaner sprays and wipes for quite some time, but never went about getting one until recently. I was attracted to the Sex Clean Toy Cleaner because it advertised as having a natural vegetable base which I also took to mean it wouldn’t have any nasty chemicals in it.
Unfortunately, I was wrong. It does have a natural base but it also has parabens in it, which I’ve talked about in my recent lube reviews. I’m just not a fan of parabens having any sort of contact with my sensitive nether bits.
Supposedly in addition to cleaning your toys Sex Clean Toy Cleaner will also polish and protect your toys. It has a “special embellishing and protecting formula” which is a little strange, and not something I, personally, want my toy cleaners to do. I think cleaners should simply clean the toy not add some extra chemicals to it that polishes and protects them.
Sex Clean Toy Cleaner does, however, clean toys well and conveniently, even with the polishing and even though it’s not anti-bacterial. A few sprays and a quick wiping with a paper towel or something similar and the toy is clean. There’s no worry about getting non-waterproof toys wet and accidentally ruining them.
There’s also no need to get out of bed after a good vigorous toy session, which is the best part. Toys should always be cleaned before and after use to keep them healthy, especially if they are made out of a porous material but even if they aren’t it’s best to keep them clean. I love the idea of a cleaning spray or wipe that alleviates the need to break up the wonderful afterglow to go clean the toy, which made me extra disappointed that I didn’t like this spray.
After being disappointed with the Sex Clean Toy Cleaner I received I went out and bought a bottle of Anti-Bacterial Toy Cleaner (review to come) and although it has more ingredients which I cannot pronounce in it I like it much better. If you are looking for a spray toy cleaner I’d definitely go with the Anti-Bacterial Toy Cleaner instead of the Sex Clean Toy Cleaner unless you have a particular desire for polishing your toys and don’t mind the parabens.

Lube Review: Sliquid Organics Natural Gel
Written by Apr 8, 2009, 15:44
No Comment • Related Topics: 5 Lotuses - Exceptional, Sliquid, Text Reviews, Water-Based

I’ve been trying to expand my experience with lube lately, but I’ve narrowed my scope of acceptable lubes to those that are glycerin- and paraben-free as glycerin plus vulvas can equal yeast, and no one wants that! Also I’ve reacted to lubes with parabens and other nasty chemicals within them, so I find it’s best to just avoid them all together.
This is one of the reasons I contacted Sliquid to see if they would be willing to let me try out some of their products. Sliquid is wonderful because all of their products are glycerin- and paraben-free! In addition to that, they have a new line, Sliquid Organics that is also (as one might imagine from the name) certified organic! I knew I needed to get my hands on some of those.
They were nice enough to send me one of their Organics line to try out, the Sliquid Organics Natural Gel which is a water-based lube unlike any other I’ve tried before. A lot of water-based lubes tend to be very runny, especially if they don’t contain glycerin which while being vag-unfriendly still has a great lube consistencey. As one would imagine due to the name including “gel” the consistency is thicker than most water-based lubes. It’s not runny at all.
The gel lube also has no taste whatsoever, and only a very slight smell. The smell is almost glue-like, or that’s the closest smell I can liken it to. However, I can only smell it when it’s right up against my nose, so when it’s in use the smell is not really noticeable due to natural body smells being more potent.
Unfortunately, it does have a tendency to absorb into the skin quicker than I would like. The more you use, of course, the longer it lasts, and when mixed with natural juices it definitely lasts longer, but without any other natural lubrication the more friction applied the thinner it gets until you are left with thin coating of lube that needs to be added to.
Due to the shortage of organic lubes out there, however, I am more than willing to reapply when needed rather than use a product with substances in it I dislike. I still think the benefits outweigh the negatives in the lube, but I realize not everyone would think the same way as I do.
In addition to all the other wonderful things, Sliquid also made their Sliquid Organics bottles “100% recyclable, and the labels are printed on partially recycled stock” which is pretty fantastic of a lube company to do! If you’re at all body-, chemical-, or environmentally-conscious I would definitely say Sliquid is the brand for you.
A big huge thank you to Sliquid for allowing me to review their Organics Natural Gel

What I love: Strap-on dildo without the harness! Wonderful size on both bulb and shaft. Works well for both partner and solo sex. Shape of the bulb hits the g-spot and the curve from bulb to shaft hits the clitoris so both partners are stimulated.
What I didn’t love: Kind of floppy, so could be irritating to use or not work well at all for some.

Cock Ring Review: LELO Bo

Onyx’s Experience
Being the partner of a sex blogger and sex toy reviewer has many benefits. One of the primary ones is that I get to play with a lot of really fun and exciting toys without even having to be the one writing the reviews. Granted while some of the toys she receives are primarily for her pleasure, almost all of them are great for partner play and I probably get at least as much pleasure from playing with them as she does.
Now normally I’m all about getting a free ride, but with the arrival of the LELO Bo it’s time for me to stop being a sex toy bum and share with the world just how much I’ve come to enjoy this marvelous little pleasure object.
Scarlet has covered most of the technical details such as the marvelous little case, the body safe materials and the elegant design in her video review so I will focus mainly on my experience wearing and playing with Bo and let her describe the experience from her point of view.
Bo is a very flexible toy that should accommodate any cock size easily; it is nice and tight, while still feeling comfortable and can be worn different ways to maximize your partner’s enjoyment of the wonderful vibrations.
I had never worn a cock ring before, much less a vibrating one and was not sure what to expect. I’ve had vibrators pressed against my cock and have enjoyed the sensation, but it did not prepare me for the far more intense pleasure that Bo’s vibrations cause. Combined with the restriction of blood flow caused by the ring itself seemed to make my penis much more sensitive, but luckily only in a good way and not too sensitive.
Some men say that wearing a cock ring prevents them having an orgasm or at least makes it harder for them to cum, this was not the case for me, but it did help me hold off longer while letting the climax build to an amazing intensity. The pleasure of a Bo orgasm is something every man owes it to himself to experience in life and can’t easily be conveyed with mere words.
So far we’ve only used the Bo for partner sex, but it’s easy to tell that it would also be fantastic for male solo play, all in all it something I strongly recommend for any man that wants to take his orgasm experience to a whole new level.
Scarlet’s Experience
Like Onyx mentioned and I mentioned in the video above, we had never used a cock ring before, so neither of us really knew what to expect. However, I had heard such wonderful things about the LELO Bo and am quite the LELO addict so I knew that it was going to be wonderful. Even though starting with such a high-quality product for our first cock ring experience may spoil us on other cock rings in the future I was willing to take that risk.
I could see the difference in Onyx’s cock once he put it on. It seemed to grow from the sensation and simply looked more sensitive though I’m not sure if I could describe the difference of that look. I could tell he was enjoying it and was excited to feel how it would change our sex.
Once he thrust into me I was caught by a new but familiar sensation: vibration. I’m used to it from toys, but not from his cock, so it was extremely strange to me the first few times we used the Bo. Strange, however, doesn’t mean bad. I enjoyed it, and I especially enjoyed his enjoyment of it. I could watch his reflection in the floor-to-ceiling length windows in our living room (where our futon currently is since it is our bed/couch/only-sitting-area-besides-one-chair) and I could hear his reaction as well, and I could tell he was having an amazing time.
I’ve heard cock rings are supposed to hit the clit as well, though I wasn’t really looking for that in our use of it. I have plenty of wonderful toys to use for clitoral stimulation, and so relying on something attached to his cock for clitoral stimulation just seems silly to me.
Since it made his cock into a flesh vibrator it definitely did provide me with enhanced sensation because of that as well, which I definitely enjoyed. We used it in conjunction with the Liberator Ramp so he was hitting my g-spot with his vibrating cock, which felt absolutely amazing.
I definitely think the LELO Bo is a wonderful addition to partner sex. It can also turn a dildo into a vibrator, and since it’s made out of TPE rather than silicone it can be used on silicone dildos, something we have yet to play with. I would imagine this would be especially delicious with a toy like Share which penetrates both partners, and intend to test this theory.

Review: Intimate Organics Massage Oil
Written by Apr 1, 2009, 17:15

Who doesn’t love massages? Giving or receiving can be equally enjoyable, and massage oil just makes the whole process easier and, well, smoother.
This Cocoa Bean & Goji Berry Aromatherapy Massage Oil is made by Intimate Organics, the same makers of the Hydra Lubricant I reviewed last week. Like their lubricant, their massage oil is also paraben free, DEA free, pure vegan, and organic!
I wasn’t sure how much I would like the scent of it. Cocoa Bean & Goji Berry, while sounding odd and intriguing, also sounded possibly also unpleasant. Unfortunately too many times when lotions or other body products go for a chocolatey smell it comes out horrible. Luckily it smells absolutely divine and delicious!
The scent is definitely chocolatey, but not overly so, with a faint hint of berry, almost like rich dark raspberry chocolate, but not quite a raspberry scent (which makes sense, considering it’s not raspberry but goji berry). The scent isn’t overpowering or unnatural smelling either, just a pleasant enhancement to an already pleasant massage.
Aside from the scent, the oil itself is a nice consistency. It’s not so thick that it doesn’t spread easily nor so oily that it runs all over and thins out. It’s easy to warm up with a quick rub of the hands together before kneading it into the sore muscles of a thankful friend or lover.
Intimate Organics also has other wonderful pampering products in this same scent and others for the body as well as more intimate areas like their Foot Foreplay Lotion, Warming Fondue Body Scrub, and Intense Clitoral Gel that are all natural, paraben free, and organic. Definitely worth checking out.
Thank you very much to Tabu Toys sex toys for allowing me to review the Intimate Organics Massage Oil!
