I’ve heard all sorts of wonderful things about Kama Sutra products since I started reviewing but I had not yet had the pleasure of playing with some until now. The Kama Sutra Love Essentials Gift Set includes three of Kama Sutra’s most talked-about products which I was happy to get my hands on.
All three products are paraben-free, something I’ve talked about ad nauseum in other reviews, but which I always like to explain in case this is the first review of mine you are reading. Parabens are irritants and can inflame the sensitive tissue of the vulva, they also can disrupt the reproductive system including mimicing estrogen or affecting the secretion of testosterone, and in high levels they have been shown to cause cancer and are generally toxic. Not everyone reacts the same way to them, of course, as our body chemistry varies widely from person to person.
Unfortunately only one of the three products is glycerin-free, the other ingredient I watch out for especially in lubes. Glycerin can promote yeast infections and is also the source of stickyness in most water-based lubricants, turning some of the best feeling lubes sticky through friction.
The set itself comes in an adorable box decorated in an Indian garden of eden fashion. Once opened, the box fills the air with the scent of the Sweet Honeysuckle Honey Dust. The three products are nestled together in a bed of brown corrugated paper with an information card on top of them indicating the purposes of each of the products within. There is a small green vile of Oil of Love, a brown tube of Love Liquid Lubricant, a black satchel of Honeysuckle Honey Dust, and a copper feather applicator.
Original Oil of Love

The original flavor is a blend of chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon. It smells and tastes quite unique, very much like a mixture of these three distinct flavors which are usually separate rather than together. It is pleasant to the taste and very easy to lick off of skin without leaving any residue or nasty sticky feelings behind. Due to the cinnamon it does have a bit of a tingling and numbing-type effect to it, but only slightly.
The vile it comes in is adorable, about the size of a regular shot glass. I can get my pinky finger into the hole of the bottle and get a bit out that way, and I have pretty thick fingers (my pinky finger is a ring size 8 if that helps), but for the most part I think it’s easier to apply with either the cork stopper it comes with or by very carefully tipping some out onto a waiting body part.
There are lots of other flavors of Oil of Love to choose from outside of the kit. Despite being called oil it doesn’t have that much oil in it, aside from some Cinnamomum Cassia Leaf Oil which is pretty low down on the list of ingredients (below). Because of this it is actually latex friendly, although I would suggest against use of it internally as it does have glycerin in it.
Ingredients: Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Water, Sucrose, Sodium Saccharine, Fragrance, Cinnamomum Cassia Leaf Oil, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Alcohol, Yellow 5, Blue 1, Red 40.
Love Liquid Lubricant

I’m a big fan of lube in general, though I try to stay away from lubes with glycerin in them as I’ve already mentioned above. The card included with the kit boasts that the Love Liquid Lubricant is “designed with the sensitive tissues of a woman in mind” which, due to the lack of parabens, I would agree with, though the addition of glycerin complicates that statement a little. Not being prone to yeast infections my biggest problem with glycerin is really the stickyness it adds to water-based lubes, and this lube is no exception.
Love Liquid feels wonderful and smooth, not quite as thick as some water-based lubes I’ve tried but also not as obscenely thin as others, it rests pleasantly in the middle thickness-wise. I would say, however, that it is one of the nicest non-flavored lubes in terms of taste. Unlike some non-flavored lubes it doesn’t have much taste at all, only a slight delightful sweetness to it.
It comes in this set in an adorable little sample-size, not nearly as big around as a quarter. It has a flip-top and stands on it’s head which makes squirting just a little on your fingers quite easy. I would easily recommend it to anyone who is not concerned about glycerin, especially if you are looking for an all-purpose lube (oral as well as nether regions).
Type: Water-based lubricant
Compatibility: Works with all toy types. Latex safe. May cause yeast infections.
Smell: Very little, just a slight sweetness to it but nothing overly so.
Taste: Also slightly sweet, but not so much that it is overpowering. Very pleasant, actually.
Sticky? A little, unfortunately, but that is due mostly to the use of glycerin.
Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Tetradodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate.
Sweet Honeysuckle Honey Dust

With quarter for scale, click for larger image (in picture viewer).
This was probably the product I was most excited to try, I thought it would be sensual and fun, and I was not disappointed. It’s basically sweet corn starch sweetened with actual honey and comes within a black satchel as shown above. Within the satchel it is enclosed in a plastic bag and can be kept in that or dumped into the satchel itself.
It comes with a feather applicator which is very cute and soft, though it attracts kitties instantly so beware of that if you have a cat household. The feather easily picks up a small amount of dust on it tips which can then be applied to any available body part for sweet sensual lickage.
The dust itself is only slightly sweet, very pleasantly so, and nowhere near overwhelming. It doesn’t have much other discernible flavor besides “sweet.” Once licked it doesn’t leave any stickyness behind, and no residue is left either aside from saliva. While you wouldn’t want to spill any it would be easily vacuumed or swept up which makes it a pleasant and potentially less messy option than lickable oils. Of all the products in this sample box this is the one specifically I want to try more of and different flavors.
Ingredients: Corn Starch Modified, Glucose, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Honey, Silica, Honey Extract, Sodium Saccharine, Fragrance, Sodium Benzoate, Amyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Alcohol, Eugenol, Hydroxy Citronellol, Benzyl Salicylate, Geraniol, Linalool, Citronellol, Benzyl Benzoate.

Jack-Off Toy Review: Tenga Double Hole

The Tenga Double Hole is made to be a pre-lubricated, one-time-use, disposable toy. While it is made to be disposable you can actually use it more than once, but if you want to do so you will need to use a condom with it since you will not be able to properly clean and sanitize the semi-porous TPE insert. Even if you do use a condom with it the insert is not designed to withstand multiple instances of vigorous use, so you can get a half-dozen orgasms out of it if you’re lucky, though that is better than most one-night stands.
Unlike other disposable Tenga toys the Double Hole has, not just one but two holes (as one might assume from the name), a “sweet side” and a “bitter side.” Tenga actually avoids comparing the Tenga holes to human holes, preferring to say that their toys offer a different and superior sensation to these natural orifices. However, the comparison is pretty abundant on just about every other retail website and is easy to infer–two holes, one tighter than the other, what else are you going to think of?–so I’m going to mention it anyway.
The “bitter side” has 63 nubs, though I’m unsure how much the number of nubs really changes anything (maybe because it’s shorter?) and is said to be reminiscent of anal sex, or perhaps a very tight cunt, so it is therefore tighter than the “sweet side” which is said to mimic vaginal sex, sort of. Yes, Tenga also has a product which seems to imitate oral sex, the Deep Throat. The “sweet side” has 73 nubs (a whopping 10 more than the “bitter side”) and is supposed to be more of a gentle grip and suction.
Since the holes are completely separate you could use the Double Hole twice, or switch between the two holes multiple times the way you shouldn’t ever do with a real cunt and ass (going from cunt to ass is okay but you don’t want to go from ass to cunt without changing/putting on a condom).
The outside of the cup is made of ABS Plastic while the insert which makes up both the holes is made of TPE or thermoplastic elastomer, a material that is body-friendly as it is phthalate-free, but it is semi-porous so it can harbor bacteria. Tenga products are actually made from all recycled plastics, so those concerned about the environmental impact of disposable toys can at least be happy about that. They also make a non-disposable version, the Tenga Flip Hole.

Since I don’t have a cock with nerve endings attached and all that junk it was actually Onyx who tested out the Double Hole, so he is going to tell you a little more about that experience:
First up in my testing was the sweet hole, described by Tenga as a hole that “gently clings to your penis”. My first impressions were that it was very similar to the Squeeze Play, but without the delightful suction that the squeeze play provides. The sensation was nice, but not overwhelmingly so and not pleasant to the same level as some male masturbators I’ve tested. Also I was somewhat distracted by the fact that every time my penis went in, a large bubble would bulge out the other end. This bubble apparently did no harm and caused no difference in sensation, but it was definitely kind of weird and distracting.
Moving on to the Bitter side which Tenga promises will “firmly tighten” around my penis I was in for a different experience. The Bitter hole is by far the tightest masturbation sleeve I’ve ever used and what can I say? Tightness can be GOOD! The sensation using the bitter hole was far more intense for me and far more pleasurable and I had to start restraining myself from climaxing too soon, wanting instead to spend some time enjoying the sensation. Also, while using this hole there were no weird bubble issues, which helped me focus more. When I did finally allow myself to orgasm, it was surprisingly intense, quite a bit more than I’m used to using masturbation sleeves.
There are a couple more ways you can try to enjoy this toy that I didn’t have the chance to test out. One option is to use a dildo or vibrator in whichever hole you’re not using for additional tightness. I suspect this would work better for me if I was using the sweet side, as the bitter side was already plenty tight. Also if you have a male partner and which to share this toy with him it is possible, though possibly awkward for you both to use the toy at the same time, each using different holes.
So while my experience with the sweet side was ok, but somewhat lackluster, my enjoyment of the bitter side more than made up for it, so I give this toy 4 lotuses
Thank you so much Toy Demon for giving me the chance to get to know the delightful Tenga Double Hole.

Anal Toy Review: Tantus B-Bomb

I enjoy anal play. A lot. With the right relaxation, lubrication, communication, and patience it can be absolutely wonderful. Thus I was super excited when Tantus sent me a B-Bomb to review. I really wanted to love it, and I did… mostly.
Specs
What’s not to love with Tantus’ own blend of premium platinum medical-grade silicone? It’s hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and can be completely sterilized so you can share silicone toys01 with a partner once sterilized. To sterilize see care instructions below.
I recently read some complaints about the squishyness of silicone, and to that I can only say that I enjoy the texture, it’s much less squishy than jelly (which is yucky anyway and you don’t want to put it in your body without a condom02 ), but obviously not going to be as hard as plastic, steel, or glass. I find Tantus’ silicone to be harder than some other blends.
Like many Tantus toys the B-bomb comes with a removeable vibrator that sticks right up the hole in the toy’s base. It is a one-speed bullet vibe that, since it’s removeable, you could also use separately from the plug on other areas that enjoy vibration or with the plug if you enjoy anal vibrations. Also, Tantus in all their wisdom has created a suction-cup attachment that you can get which fits into any of the slots in their toys made for bullet vibes, turning any bullet-compatible Tantus toy into a suction cup toy.

Use
The pointyness of the plug worried me when I first got it, but that’s where the squishyness of silicone comes in handy, since it’s not made out of a hard material the point is not noticeable after you put it in your butt. The point is actually a positive in the respect that it makes the B-bomb very easy to insert since it is a gradual taper from the point to the rounded body. I found with a bit of non-silicone lube03 the B-bomb slides in nice and easy.
I thought the size and shape was extremely pleasurable, not too big but not too small either. It isn’t an intimidating toy in either respect which makes it great for beginners and is a great warm-up toy for those more experienced in anal adventures. The taper near the base helps it stay inside as any good butt plug should do, and that allows the sphincter to relax around it.
The problem I had with it, though–and what would change it from a three lotus rating to a four or even five–was the base. It is circular and fairly thick. While it is a very well made base I’m spoiled by my love for my Pfun Plug or Bob plugs which have bases that fit snugly between the ass cheeks. Since I have a rather large booty it is actually uncomfortable for me to wear a plug with a circular base for any long period of time.
Most of Tantus’ other plugs do have a more rectangular base which makes wearing them for longer than a few minutes quite comfortable, such as the Ryder, Infinity, or Tulip. The toys that do have more wearable bases, however, do not vibrate. If you aren’t planning on wearing the B-bomb for long, are looking for a vibrating plug, and especially if you’re looking for something fairly small and non-threatening for thrusting it is a fabulous and well made plug that would be a wonderful addition to any anal adventurer’s toybox.
A big huge thanks to Tantus for sending me a B-Bomb to review!
