I definitely meant to include that, but obviously it slipped my mind. It's definitely not nearly as loud as the Hitachi. It's pretty quiet, actually, especially for it's power, and can't be heard from across the room even. It's actually loudest when on the lowest speed, just barely a sputter as far as the vibration goes but something in it is super loud at that point, after you get past that, though, it's nice and quiet. It can be heard from a few feet away, but I've had it on about ten feet away and not had one of my partners notice. That’s a good question!
