Anal Toy Review: njoy Pfun Plug

pfun1

The njoy Pfun Plug is my second njoy toy, and hopefully not my last. I am in awe of the gorgeous toys Njoy produces and (like so many others) covet the amazing Eleven more than just about any other toy out there. While the njoy line consists of quite a few plugs in different sizes the Pfun plug is the only one with multiple bulbs and has always looked particularly tempting to me.

The sleek look of cool steel is irresistible, and immediately after receiving my Pfun Plug I knew I wanted it in my butt. I’m not big on plugs, I prefer my anal in the form of thrusting for the most part, but I’ve always liked the look of plugs over anything else.

From past experiences I knew I would love the handle, as I’ve had trouble with round handles in the past. Round handles tend to be uncomfortable for wearing for extended or even brief periods of time, perhaps especially if your booty is rather large (though that’s my only experience with plugs so I don’t have anything to compare it to).

The Pfun Plug has a wonderful thin handle as you can see in the pictures, and the hole in the handle makes it easy to get hold of in order to pull it out. If you’ve ever had to try to grab hold of a lubed up plug and pull it out you’ll appreciate this wonderful removal-aid finger hole. The handle is somewhat long, however, which wasn’t an issue for me as my ass is well padded, but for those with less padding in the backside it may be uncomfortable to sit.

pfun2

Now that I’ve covered the handle, let’s get to the actual insertable part of the plug! It has a wonderful curve to it, which lightly rapped against my g-spot whenever I walked or moved with it in. One of the wonderful things about anal plugs is that they tend to be unisex, hitting the g-spot in females and the p-spot/prostate in males (also called the male g-spot).

The firm steel is fairly thin, but feels bigger while inserted due to the hard material. While I didn’t have the Pfun Plug itself when we had the heat wave here in Seattle a couple months ago I know that it would have been lovely to slip in after letting it get cool in a bowl of water or the fridge for a few minutes.

I’m a big fan of the Pfun Plug which just goes to prove my need for the Eleven and, really, all other njoy products. If you’re in the market for a plug and like the feel of cool hard steel, or just want to experience a quality toy up your butt I definitely say the Pfun Plug is the way to go.

Lube Review: Sliquid Original H2O

sliquidh2o

In my search to find the perfect lube I’ve tried many different kinds but come to some criteria for what I know I like. I don’t like glycerin in my lubes, it can create yeast infection problems and it’s the source of the horrible stickyness that is associated with water-based lubes.

I also don’t like parabens. I stopped trying lubes with parabens in them when I had a bad reaction to a lube resulting in some burning of my nether regions which was unpleasant to say the least. I’ve not had a reaction to any lube since I stopped using paraben-laced lubes.

Sliquid is one wonderful company whose lubes are all glycerin and paraben free, every last one of them. They boast they are “the only entirely glycerin (sugar derivative) free and paraben free intimate product line available” being formulated with a woman’s safety as their main concern.

All of their lubes are 100% vegan, 100% latex/condom friendly, non-staining, and not tested on animals. They are also “formulated to last longer than most Hollywood marriages,” and if that phrase which is right on the side of the bottle doesn’t make you want to get it just for that I don’t know what will. They won a 2009 AVN “O” Award for their Sliquid Organics line, the only line of theirs I had tried thus far when I reviewed the Sliquid Organics Natural Gel a while back.

The gel was thick, which was great especially for anal, and I’ve been wanting to get my hands on more Sliquid products ever since. I was lucky enough to get my hands on Sliquid H2O Intimate Lubricant and Sliquid Sizzle Warming Lube, though this review is only about the former.

Sliquid H2O is surprisingly thick, especially for water-based lube without glycerin in it, though not as thick as the Organics Natural Gel. Glycerin-free water-based lube tends to be thin and doesn’t last long without having to reapply and reapply and… you get the idea. H2O, however, does not need so many reapplications. It can be “reactivated” by reapplying or adding water, however, should you be staging your own marathon sexcapades within your bedroom.

It has virtually no smell or taste to it, just a slight plant-like twinge to it which doesn’t really take anything away from the lube and is difficult to detect once it has been applied as other scents take over. Since it doesn’t have glycerin in it there is no icky sticky factor like lots of other water-based lubes, so you don’t have to worry about it becoming uncomfortable.

Basically, it works like a dream. If you like thick lube or are concerned with ingredients Sliquid is definitely the way to go. You can find Sliquid H2O Intimate Lubricant, along with other Sliquid products, Dildos and sex toys of every flavor on SexToy.Com.

Vibrator Review: Fun Factory G-Twist

Good Vibrations G-Twist Vibrator

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Fun Factory toys, I have quite a lot of them and they’re all made with high standards of quality and care as well as body safe materials, all factors of a quality company. Not only is this a Fun Factory toy, but the G-Twist was made specifically by Fun Factory for Good Vibrations, an amazing sex-positive feminist and all-around-awesome sex toy shop, designed by the GV staff to be the ultimate insertable g-spot vibrator.

I’m personally not much of a fan of internal vibrations, I prefer my insertables to not vibrate and strong vibrations on my clit, so I was a little unsure of how well the G-Twist would work for me. The benefit, though, of having a vibrator that is made for g-spot and internal stimulation is that you can just use it without the vibe essentially as a dildo. My girlfriend Marla, however, thought it was wonderful in both vibrating and non-vibrating modes.

The G-Twist is a gorgeous specimen of g-spot toy and vibrator, long and relatively thick with wonderful ridges all over it. The ridges add to the girth of it a bit, making it suitable even for a size queen such as myself, and the curve of it finds the g-spot easily and presses in just the right places. The vibrations are fairly strong, although nowhere near hitachi strong but few things are, and can be felt easily from base to tip. I couldn’t get off clitorally using this toy alone, but used internally paired with a strong clitoral vibrator it was heavenly.

The majority of the toy is extremely bendable, the last four or five inches or so, which is surprising for a toy with such vibrations. At the base where the silicone meets the handle, battery case, and dial-controls there is a ridge of silicone which can actually be bent up during use to hit the clit. I did this for Marla while we were trying the G-Twist out, and she said it was extremely pleasant.

The G-Twist also comes in six different colors (above), all of which are beautiful.

I’ve heard other reviewers have had issues with the battery case, but I didn’t find it to be true. It was a little tricky, as you have to push in either side of the bottom at just the right spot to get the batter compartment to pop out, but once I did it the first time it was easy to do so from then on.

The dial control was interesting to use, as it can be turned either clockwise or counter-clockwise and continuously in 360+ degrees, although only a 180 degree amount of it will turn the toy on. The vibrations vary from barely there to nice and strong depending on where the dial is turned to. I haven’t had any issues with accidentally turning the dial while using it, which is a big plus in my book.

A big huge thank you to Good Vibrations for providing me with the Fun Factory G-Twist!

Dildo Review: Fun Factory Curve

What can I say about the Fun Factory Curve? Well, I’ve wanted this toy for quite some time, it’s quite popular and I had seen it in stores before but never got around to getting one until now.

Curve is both loved and hated, and the problem sometimes with reviewing something so intimate as sex toys is that because everyone is different no one toy will work for every person. There are toys that are mediocre which tend to run the entire continuum from love to hate, but good toys are usually more a love/hate binary because they either work perfectly or not at all. That’s my experience anyway.

Upon receiving Curve I first assessed it’s potential faults and the things I’ve read other reviewers say about it. It was softer than I expected and more flexible as well; while silicone has a wide range of pliability this was more pliable than most other Fun Factory toys I have played with. I was concerned the softness would reduce the accuracy and ability of Curve to hit my g-spot.

The other issue I’ve heard about and was worried about is the bump at the beginning. Curve has a head on it which, along with the swirls on the side, is a different texture than the rest of the shaft (this is somewhat visible in the picture above). The different texture is smoother, allowing the head to be slicker than the rest which is a wonder for insertion, but the bump on the head makes it quite a bit thicker than the rest of the toy. I’ve heard this bump can be extremely irritating and uncomfortable when in use.

So, that’s what I’ve heard. What did I think? Well…

I’m really just a beginner g-spotter but I’ve always loved combined clitoral and internal stimulation even before I knew where or what my g-spot was. The first toy to find and caress my g-spot perfectly was the Ophoria Beyond No. 3, which I love dearly, but Curve holds the title of the first toy I’ve squirted with (combined with a strong vibration on my clit), so that should tell you something!

I had no issue with this toy’s softness, it doesn’t feel soft when inside me and it had no problem hitting my g-spot wonderfully and perfectly! I didn’t find the bump on the head to be an issue either, but I’m also a bit of a size queen so those who are not used to stretching around larger objects may have difficulty with the bump. My girlfriend thought the bump was uncomfortable while thrusting, specifically coming out, because of the lip on it, but I didn’t even really notice it.

What I did notice was the curve was excellent. It isn’t as intense as on the Fun Factory Delight or even the Pure Wand, but it is more pronounced than the Ophoria Beyond No. 3.

The way I like my g-spot stimulation, I’ve come to realize, is not through thrusting but through rocking and jiggling the toy inside of me. Too much thrusting and my g-spot just gets sore and hurts, and I don’t like that! On both Marla and myself once we found the right place we were able to keep it there and jiggle and wiggle Curve around quickly to stimulate that spot over and over, resulting in (as I mentioned) quite epic and massive squirting on my part. I was highly impressed.

A big huge thank you to Adult Sensations for sending me Curve to review!
